Building Resilience and Well-being
Supporting people and teams across the organisation to build resilience and wellbeing through change and challenge.
High-performing organisations are built on healthy, resilient people. When employees have the support and environment to manage pressure and adapt to change, they are more engaged, productive and able to perform at their best.
Common Challenges
When wellbeing is overlooked, or there is a culture of performance at all costs, organisations often experience
- declining engagement
- reduced productivity
- rising absenteeism
- burnout
- psychological injury
- increased turnover
- greater difficulty attracting and retaining talented people.
Beyond the human impact, there are significant commercial costs, as well as legal obligations for organisations to proactively manage psychosocial risks and provide a psychologically healthy workplace.
The Solution
Supporting resilience and wellbeing requires a strategic approach. We work alongside your key people to develop tailored, practical solutions that embed resilience and well-being at four levels:
- individual capability
- team capability
- leadership capability
- policy, process and culture.
We can work with you to develop and embed a strategy across your organisation, or we can focus on specific hot spots where resilience is needed.

About the R@W
Designed In 2011 by Australian organisational psychologist Kathryn McEwen, the Resilience at Work (R@W) toolkit consists of three scientifically researched scales measuring workplace resilience at the individual, team and leader levels.
Each of the three scales measures seven components that interrelate and contribute to overall resilience. The R@W assessment results can then be used as the basis for a range of organisational development strategies, including individual coaching, team development, and broader staff training.
The toolkit has been used successfully for a wide range of jobs and professions at all organisational levels - from front-line to executive. The assessment scales for leaders, teams and employees can be used either together for a comprehensive program, or individually.
